Music is a gift from God. It can lift your spirit and sooth your soul. How amazing is it that simple sounds can stir a person’s emotion so deeply? Music has the power to move a person to tears as well as make him jump for joy. How it is that just a combination of sounds and rhythms can accomplish this? The late Ray Charles started his own charitable foundation for the purpose of helping children hear for the first time. He donated huge sums of money to this end because he couldn't imagine how anyone could live without being able to hear the colors of sound, yet he himself was blind. If God has blessed you with the desire and ability to play an instrument or sing a song, embrace that gift with a passion and use it often to the glory of God who gave it to you. If God has blessed you with the ability to hear and the capacity to enjoy these wonderful arrangements of sounds then give thanks to Him who created all things and turn up the music!

A SPECIAL NOTE:
It is with great sadness that we celebrate the passing of David Grant who went home August 3, 2007. David lived his life to serve the Lord as well as others. David was instrumental in helping me to set up Music With A Message and he was a wealth of information on issues concerning web pages, music contacts, computers, etc. I have been blessed for knowing him and I thank  him for his friendship and service. I attended his memorial service as was amazed at the many people whose lives were touched by this man. He leaves his wife Karen who carries on serving the Lord by ministering with her music. I am indebted to them both and my prayers as well as the prayers of everyone at  Music With a Message go with Karen and also with David's parents.
